Tilapia fish culture above ground

Description

The construction of large-scale fish farms is technically possible and from a social and ecological point of view desirable to achieve food self-sufficiency for the population of central Cameroon. As part of our project after several studies on the types of crops: (Tilapia Nilotica mononculture; Clarias Lazera monoculture) we opted for the Tilapia Nilotica monoculture highly recommended by scientific studies on the subject; and also because the annual profits and the profitability are very interesting compared to the productive surfaces and the relatively small investments. The first limits to the development of commercial fish farms above ground in central Cameroon are the investment which amounts to 17,900,200 FCFA for 20 ares profitable from the first year. And start-up funds estimated at: 6,352,000 FCFA for 20 ares. For a profit of 2 647 978 FCFA. In the case of an operation of 10 ares, we suffer a loss of 916,000FCFA in the first year. Faced with a lack of financial means, we ask potential investors for investment costs and operating costs to start the project; with the choice of a 20-acre farm; or a Total Amount requested of Twenty-four million two hundred and fifty-two thousand two hundred FCFA: (24,252,200) FCFA; or in Euros, Thirty-six thousand nine hundred and seventy (€ 36,970).
